The conversion process is not unfamiliar to Harvey. He has undertaken other similar jobs in the past as one of Quebec’s more prominent life science property owners. “You don’t have many real estate players involved in this market, » he said. « so when there’s something for sale in the market, I receive a phone call and that’s how it worked on this one.”
HarveyCorp’s previous experience in such conversions includes an ongoing project to remodel four office buildings in Laval into life science facilities. The Laval facility recently signed a new tenant, Harvey said.
